Great post Pete – looks really good.
Thanks Ian
When I saw yours flying it gave me the inspiration to build it and install a sound system.
It’s been forty odd years since I last built a model so I’m quite pleased with the result.
Full marks to you – and having seen some of the earlier photo’s of the cockpit etc. I’ve got to say what a nice model yours is. I’m glad its now flown and it’s really good to see grass roots modellers building these days rather than going down the ARTF route. I remember Jeff Hooley (RIP) saying how he felt ARTF’s were just toys. I happened to agree with him at the time but lately I have felt there is a place for them too and in fact have dipped a toe – nay, a foot, into that area. I remember when Flair came to prominence, and made such an impact replacing the likes of Keil Kraft – what a shame we struggle to find their kits these days. I have a Flair 1/4 scale Tiger in the loft – not yet started. Maybee some time…..

Now – wouldn’t it be nice to see a threesome of Pupeteer’s as a follow on post…..
That’s a good idea Ian-could do with a better video camera and a better camera man to take some footage,we will have to arrange a date that”s good for all of us
Thinking about getting a Mick Reeves 1/4 scale Slopwith Camel for my next project and see how that goes….
