| About – The long-established PMAC swapmeet, currently in its 24th year, was initially set up as an annual event to offer aero modellers in the North-West an opportunity for individuals to trade their model aircraft and associated goodies in a convivial and friendly atmosphere. It grew steadily in popularity so that it now attracts modellers from further afield and runs twice per year. Retaining the friendliness of our original venue, we have again made a special effort this swapmeet’s position as one of the most vibrant in the North West. |
| Location – The Deanwater Hotel (SK7 1RJ) is located 1.2 miles south west of the former British Aerospace Plant at Woodford, between Stockport, Wilmslow and Macclesfield, on the A5102. The venue has a large function room, where we can accommodate around 50 tables, and has the benefit of an ample seating area where you can relax and share stories with other modelers, or simply admire your purchases. There is a bar in the swapmeet room, which will be open on the night, and also a restaurant if you fancy a more substantial meal. |
| Booking – If you have model aircraft, engines, plans, accessories, or anything aeromodelling related to trade, tables are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Tables cost £4 each (does not include entry) and can be reserved via our Contact page (subject to our confirmation). Alternatively you can ’phone Terry Mason on 0161 439 3816 to make a booking. Doors open at 7:00pm for sellers to set up Pre-booking is strongly advised; it’s rare there are tables available on the night. |
